I’m so honored to be presented with this most excellent award (I feel like I’ve got academy awards on my mantel). Thank you so much HumaAq for thinking of me.
The questions requested of me to answer, go like this:
1. Why did you start your blog?
It was completely spontaneous, and I never knew I was going to do it. This is the Year of the Lovers, for me, and it says to follow my passions. Well, writing is a great passion of mine, and having been away from it for too long, I took the plunge, and was given an added surprise: meeting an amazing group of others who are like minded, in their passion for writing.
2. Who inspires you?
It is an interesting question. I actually feel inspired by everybody! I read, and it inspires me to look deeper into myself, and find the spark of creativity which pushes me to greater heights.
3. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
As a live in the moment gal, I will be as surprised to find where I’ll be in ten years, as I was to find myself here in WordPress, in Blogging University. I do know that I’ll enjoy the adventure to that moment. 🙂
4.What book are you reading right now?
I might have answered this not long ago, somewhere, though just where escapes me. The book I’ve been reading for a while – time is limited, so I have to schedule everything in – is Seven Fires by Brian S. Goodson, and Jean Moyer
5. What is your all time favorite movie?
Oh, a tough one. Like my favorite music, it changes, not only as I grow, but as new things come out. When I was thirteen, one movie did come into my life, and I would have said it would be my favorite movie, forever. And I still do love it. But others have come in, and stolen my heart as well. I will stick with my first love, for this question: West Side Story.
6. If you could choose anywhere in the world, where would you choose to live, and why?
On an island, where it is always warm.
7. Do you speak any foreign languages?
One, which my husband and I wrote: Altherian
8. Do you have any hidden talents?
I discovered during 2014, that I had vision. As we were trying to fit two households into one, I suddenly was able to know exactly what to put where, what would fit where, without taking a measuring tape to the space. I no idea where that ability comes from. Oh, and I do have a very good sense of direction, when driving.
9. What career would you choose if you had a free choice?
I would have to say Forensics.
10. Whats your favorite type of music?
Every type of music. It would be easier to answer what I don’t like.
11. Whats your favorite type of food?
I’m sure Mr. Quantum would say Elven Lembas Bread – from the Lord of the Rings. He might be right, since I believe bread of any type is my greatest craving, with butter, of course.
I will be coming up with nominees as time goes by, since I have just signed up for A Story A Day in May, and I will be typing my little fingers off. Consider that it will be forth coming, like my last 25 Songs, 25 Days post, the special 42 favorites that are also part of that same challenge.

YOU DA MAN, woman!!! Liebster on, party on. Hey, more spooky stuff–I also have that talent to know where things go. Surprised? And get this, I have a friend named Al Therian, who uses sign language.

Thank you!!! Yes, party on. It never stops.
Not surprised at your talent, it’s quite impressive.
And being the traveler that you are, of course you know where things go. 🙂

Get this. When I eat, I take a bite of everything at once, mix the flavors. And I always have one last bite with some of everything still left for that last bite. Who does that?

Now you sound like Q. But I see where you draw the line. It’s on the plate, as opposed to on the fork, spoon, chopstick… Well, there are denominational differences.

Thank you, Kim! It’s quite a challenge for sure. Everyday, a story. By the end, I’ll be saying ‘oy, with the poodles already’ (a quote from a favorite show of mine.)

Thank you so much! The language originated in my husband’s young mind, and he worked on it, over the years. After we married, we began working on it together, and eventually came up with a working language. We use it daily, which helps me to retain the ‘foreign’ words, as my ability to learn languages is limited. lol
Thank you for your thoughts about my writing. While I have been writing since I was in first grade when I learned how to write, and wrote fairly consistently, I’ve only been brave enough to send out one for publication, which brought me my first rejection letter. My blogging began only at the turn of this calendar year. My voice has changed, and I sometimes think, what part of me did that come from? lol If anything, blogging has given me the opportunity to learn more about myself.
