The Sandbox Writing Challenge over at Impromptu Promptlings is taking us to our happy place of relaxation and pleasure. Thank you Calan for bringing this back.
`
“Relaxation & Pleasure
Tell us a little bit about:
a) what relaxes you, and
b) what brings you pleasure.”
RELAXATION:
These are the things:
The warmth of the sun relaxes me:
A slow stroll in a summer forest
Secret Spot Sitting
The aftermath of THAT COMPACT UNIVERSE OF SKIN AND BREATH AND HAIR
Not to mention Listening to these songs:
HANSHAN TEMPLE
ANNIE CHOYING
SEAL LULLABYE
———–
On the PLEASURE side…
“All acts of love and pleasure are my rituals”
These two things often blend together into an audio/visual montage…

I love chants! They make me feel positively medieval!

I’ve been humming Country Roads for days now. I listen to chants when I do yoga.

Spooky stuff happening here! I sing Country Roads (the sock monkey version) every afternoon and evening. Plus in general, it’s a very addictive song.
I bet you’d make a good yoga instructor… maybe the ‘cafe’ can have yoga classes?
I need a teacher.

Spooky Stuff…that’s the title to your blog isn’t it? I’m thinking of changing the title of my blog to Global Geezer. Whattaya think? Can you make me a Geezer?

A Global Geezer, huh? Well, it’s probably a matter of adding some gray to the mustache, and maybe a hat that says, “Global Geezer,” or something like that. Let me know what you think?

Wonderful links, Fim. Just finished listening to the Buddhist’s chants and I feel all floaty. Wonder what kind of story is going to arrive now… ah… This Angel in Me sounds perfect. Thank you.

Thank you, Mary! It’s good to be back and I’ve missed being able to read your most excellent blog as well, which I hope to spend a good deal of time catching up on.
