Ah! Then I’m glad I could share it here for you. It was on the “Once Upon A Dream,” album, and the title song was sung by David Brigati, brother of Eddie (the young rascal), who sang “My Hawaii.” Eddie was my favorite during those tender teen years! ๐

My Mom has taught piano my entire life and she still does! Music has always been a huge part of my life.

My aunt, who is now 98 years old, was a music teacher in a high school. So I was taught how to play piano from a young age. It is the one instrument my ears hear even when there are guitars wailing. Unfortunately I can’t play much any more due to arthritis in my upper extremities. Still, I love that I’m still able to listen.

My mom taught me as a child. But you know what itโs like learning from your parents. I didnโt want to learn from her. Of course now I regret it! I could easily pick it up again but I donโt. I have a piano that just sits there.โน๏ธ

I think learning from others is easier on family life. My aunt didn’t live with us, so it was easier. We currently have an electronic instrument, but it is now in its box, also just sitting there. Those were the days when I played. These are the days when I simply enjoy listening. I do find myself playing air piano though. ๐
