Thank you, Niki! In each song, I’m actually playing this to myself, telling me to stop dragging unnecessary baggage – like self loathing, banishing the little girl I was all those years ago. Though I do recalling feeling this way about a few of my romances, not to mention the ones who never looked my way, but to whom I still gave my heart unrequitedly.

I relate to the little girl dragging around self-loathing. I just began a powerful 60-day series by Heather Noell called The Giving Game. So far all materials have been free and I believe they all are. I’m on day 4 and feel like I’ve come across a huge distance, been given amazing tools – particularly to help that little one. The most powerful exercise so far for me has been an energy clearing meditation done through space/time all the way back to the first remembered fear/anxiety/hurt. I didn’t think I could visit that place but I did, with Heather’s lovely voice guiding through. It was only a 13-minute meditation but I already feel freer. I sure do wish we could find a time machine which not only would bring us back to the times these were hits, but to the possibility of us finding the timeline where we were friends, hanging out and listening to and sharing music.

I like the way you use music to tell a story – and the end of the Beatles track was a lovely touch. Far more thought- provoking than using All You Need is Love.
