PhoTrablogger has a really fun event on Monday; exploring the mundane in pictures. Having recently gotten a new camera, and still looking for the time to get out there and get in some clicks, I tried something which is less a mundane idea, but did give me a rather nice shot of a very mundane part of our house.

You must know it was Q’s idea. Though I confess to loving the sense of seeing a number of us clones. Now if I could get them out of the mirrors and to do some housekeeping. THEN we’ll believe (paraphrasing a quote here). LOL And thank you! Maybe I can get a job as a photog? 😉

That is really one cool shot. Is Q facing into the mirror we see, and you facing the other way…into the mirror we don’t see? Or…now, is it the other way around? Or is it something else? Branching out are we? Today it’s photography, tomorrow…what?

Thank you 🙂 Yes, Q is facing the mirror, and I am standing behind him, and holding the camera up above his shoulder, facing the same way. If I had been facing the mirror behind us, I think we would be seeing his back (?) Considering I have not really been taking pictures, in that sense, yes, branching out. But I’ve been thinking about this for a while. How can I not with you bringing us amazing vistas and photographs which illustrate your amazing storytelling. It’s inspirational.

There are three mirrors. The big wall mirror over the sink. On either side of this is a medicine chest, each with a mirror and being adjacent to the main mirror, are actually facing each other. So when you look into one mirror, you’re seeing reflections in reflections… I think LOL

YAY @ making your day! I think, on some level, I’m one of those ‘jack of all trades’ but master of none. I try things. New adventures make life exciting. So I’ll try stuff, especially if I see what others can do. It’s kind of difficult being part of this Blogging U world, and not to be inspired by the photographs so many take and share. PhoTraBlogger also is on the photography wagon. We’ve talked about taking photos, and I didn’t have a digital camera, and it’s so difficult to wait a month to get my photographs back from the 35mm development factory. So, when I thought I was going on vacation, we bought a digital camera. Thus, I am trying to take pictures 🙂 Oh, and as to being a ‘pro’ haven’t you heard of beginners luck?
I also will be trying drawing/painting water colors – at a place called Willowing.
And YES, you were a huge inspiration with your own photography, when I’d read your blog after you posted. So let it be written, so let it be done. and know it’s cool!
